The site exists because I couldn’t find honest, plain-English answers when I was making these same purchase decisions for my own home. Every meaningful site in this space was selling something — a charger, an install, a scheme. I wanted the version where nothing was being sold. So I built it.

JustWatt earns affiliate commission on some recommendations, but we don’t base recommendations on commission rates. The methodology page explains how that works. If we got something wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it in public.
